( eg: "cyrusmusicever" and not in our real name; eg: Cyrus Malaowala ), with some attachments, photos etc.
Please never open these attachments, and :"DELETE" these mails immediately.
Do not blame these persons on whose ID name the Virus mail was sent, as that person is unaware of it.

Fight this menace of VIRUS Mails unitedly.

CM orders probe into civil aviation department functioning

LUDHIANA: Following the crash of Punjab government-owned C-90 Beechcraft six-seater aircraft in which two senior pilots were killed last week, Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal on Sunday ordered a comprehensive probe into functioning of the state's civil aviation department.
According to Harcharan Bains, media advisor to the chief minister, "The inquiry will be conducted by Chief Secretary Ramesh Inder Singh who has been directed to submit his report within next 45 days.
Ramesh Inder Singh would also periodically apprise the state’s Civil Aviation Minister Upinderjit Kaur on the progress of inquiry.
The aircraft crashed on November 29 while it was on a test flight in vacant premises of thapar agro industry, village jugiyana of Ludhiana, killing both the pilots on board—Capt Dalip Kataria and Capt Manjit Singh Khokhar. The civil aviation authorities have since been under fire for pressing an old aircraft into VIP flying operations.
A separate enquiry into the crash is already being conducted by a two-member team appointed by the DGCA to figure out the cause of accident.

JCT knocked out Mohammedan Sporting Club by 2-nil

LUDHIANA: The home ground proved lucky for the host JCT as they knocked out Mohammedan Sporting Club 2-nil in their third 13th ONGC I- league encounter played at Guru Nanak Stadium here today.
The JCT, retained their supremacy and added three points in their kitty. With today's wind they have earned a total of seven points in three matches.

The visitors Mohammedan Sporting, who were struggling at 10 place in the I- league continued to suffer another humiliating defeat at the hands of the host JCT.
Even the former JCT midfielder Adebayo A. Tokunbo, who shifted his loyalties to the Bangla club remained harmless.
However, the JCT was not playing with the best of their abilities.
The absence of star strikers like Sunil Chhetri and Praveen Kumar was conspicuous as the Brazalian find Edurado Da Silva was left alone in the striking zone, searching for partners.
However, both the teams made forays in the rival territory and made few attempts to score a goal in the first quarter.
A curling kick by Sporting striker Gurpreet Singh was timely saved by the JCT Goal Keeper Karanjit Singh in the 25th minute.

JCT goal keeper Karanjit Singh, made some breath taking save and foiled all the attempts made by the Sporting duo.

Sighting the opportunity in the weak Sporting defense, the Brazalian, Edurado Da Silva, who was simply magical in the second half and put the Bangla club in the tizzy, as five defender were not enough to stop him scoring a goal in the 68th minute.
After, conceding two goals the visitors made few more efforts to score a goal but their fragile kicks were simply not enough to rock the wall like defense of the JCT consisting Anwar, Julius Akpele and Daljit.

BE CAREFULL : WASH THEM FIRST

LUDHIANA :This incident happened recently in North Texas .
A woman went boating one Sunday taking with her some cans of coke which she put into the refrigerator of the boat. On Monday she was taken to the hospital and placed in the Intensive Care Unit. She died on Wednesday.

The autopsy concluded she died of Leptospirosis. This was traced to the can of coke she drank from, not using a glass. Tests showed that the can was infected by dried rat urine and hence the disease Leptospirosis.

Rat urine contains toxic and deathly substances. It is highly recommended to thoroughly wash the upper part of soda cans before drinking out of them. The cans are typically stocked in warehouses and trans ported straight to the shops without being cleaned.

A study at NYCU showed that the tops of soda cans are more contaminated than public toilets (i.e).. full of germs and bacteria. So wash them with water before putting them to the mouth to avoid any kind of fatal accident.

A NEEDLE CAN SAVE THE LIFE

When witness a stroke occurring, stay calm. No matter where the victim is, do not move him/her. Because, if moved, the capillaries will burst. Gently help the victim to sit up. Prevent him from falling over again, and then the bloodletting can begin. If you have in your home an injection syringe that would be the best, otherwise, a sewing needle or a straight pin will do.

1. Place the needle/pin over fire to sterilize it, and then use it to prick the tip of all 10 fingers.

2. There are no specific acupuncture points, just prick about a mm from the fingernail.

3. Prick till blood comes out.

4. If blood does not start to drip, then squeeze with your fingers.

5. When all 10 digits is bleeding, wait a few minutes then the victim will regain consciousness.

6. If the victim's mouth is crooked, then pull on his ears until they are red.

7. Then prick each ear lobe twice until two drops of blood comes from each ear lobe. After a few minutes the victim should regain consciousness.

Wait till the victim regain his normal state without any abnormal symptoms then take him to the hospital, otherwise, if he was taken in the ambulance in a hurry to the hospital, the bumpy trip will cause all the capillaries in his brain to burst. If he could save his life, barely managing to walk, then it is by the grace of his ancestors.

' I learned about letting blood to save life from Chinese traditional doctor Ha Bu-Ting who lives in Sun-Juke. Furthermore, I had practical experience with it. Therefore I can say this method is 100% effective.In 1979, I was teaching inFung-Gaap College in Tai-Chung. One afternoon I was teaching class when another teacher came running to my class room and said in panting, 'Ms. Liu, come quick, our supervisor has had a stroke!'

He rested one night and was released the next day to return to school to teach.

15 Spectacular tricks to teach your body

1.) If you've got an itch in your throat, scratch your ear. When the nerves in the ear get stimulated, they create a reflex in the throat that causes a muscle spasm, which cures the itch.

10.) Nervous? Slow your heart rate down by blowing on your thumb.. The vagus nerve controls your heart rate, and you can calm it down by breathing.

11.) Need to breathe underwater for a while??? Instead of taking a huge breath, HYPERVENTILATE before you go under, by taking a bunch of short breaths. That'll trick your brain into thinking it has more oxygen, and buy you about 10 extra seconds.

12.) You can prevent BRAIN FREEZE by pressing your tongue flat against the roof of your mouth, covering as much surface area as possible. Brain freeze happens because the nerves in the roof of your mouth get extremely cold, so your brain thinks your whole body is cold. It compensates by overheating…which causes your head to hurt. By warming up the roof of your mouth, you'll chill your brain and feel better.

13.) If your hand falls asleep, rock your head from side to side.
That'll wake your hand or arm up in less than a minute. Your hand falls asleep because of the nerves in your neck compressing…so loosening your neck is the cure. If your foot falls asleep, that's governed by nerves lower in the body, so you need to stand up and walk around.

14.) Finally, this one's totally USELESS, but a nice trick. Have
Someone stick their arm out to the side, straight, palm down. Press down on his wrist with two fingers. He'll resist, and his arm will stay horizontal. Then, have him put his foot on a surface that's half an inch off the ground, like a stack of magazines, and do the trick again. Because his spine position is thrown off, his arm will fall right to his side, no matter how much he tries to resist..

A dioxin ! chemical causes cancer, especially breast cancer.


Dioxins are highly poisonous to the cells of our bodies. Don't freeze your plastic bottles with water in them as this releases dioxins from the plastic.


Recently, Edward Fujimoto, Wellness Program Manager at Castle Hospital , was on a TV program to explain this health hazard. He talked about dioxins and how bad they are for us.
He said that we should not be heating our food in the microwave using plastic containers...

This especially applies to foods that contain fat.

He said that the combination of fat, high heat, and plastics releases dioxin into the food and ultimately into the cells of the body....
Instead, he recommends using glass, such as Corning Ware, Pyrex or ceramic containers for heat! ing food... You get the same results, only without the dioxin. So such things as TV dinners, instant ramen and soups, etc.., should be removed from the container and heated in something else.
Paper isn't bad but you don't know what is in the paper. It's just safer to use tempered glass, Corning Ware, etc.
He reminded us that a while ago some of the fast food restaurants moved away from the foam containers to paper. The dioxin problem is one of the reasons...
Also, he pointed out that plastic wrap, such as Saran, is just as dangerous when placed over foods to be cooked in the microwave. As the food is nuked, the high heat causes poisonous toxins to actually melt out of the plastic wrap and drip into the food.
Cover food with a paper towel instead.

LUDHIANA: Mohit khanna (meku), captain of media eleven, ludhiana grabs man of the match title with blasting 42 runs in a 20-20 cricket match against the team of youngsters of punjab college of technical education (PCTE) baddowal. media eleven won this match by 6 wickets. match was held in arya college for boys, ludhiana on sunday 11 may.
After winning the toss pcte eleven scored 187/5 in 20 overs. mani (65) and varun (42) did well with the bat. tarsem deogan bowled realy well and got three wickets and become higehst wicket taker for media eleven, while mohit claims one wicket.
media eleven chased the target in 18th over. media eleven's opners mohit khanna (meku) and sunil lead the team towards the victory with smashing 97 runs partnership in 8 overs. ajit (29), arshdeep samar (25), vikas (13 not out) and akash (7 not out) gave their contribution in chasing the target.
MR.P.P. singh, deputy director of pcte, distribute the trophies in members of winning team.
